So April 30th was the 1000 day anniversary for Keunseok & me. That’s about 2.5 years (I think), but 1000 days looks way cooler, right?

Anyway, the cute little 3lin asked for a post about how we met. I have answered this quickly before on my tumblr, but since my blog is so ‘small’ I figure everyone who reads it already knows lol

But since this ~*~cool number~*~ anniversary passed, I’m just going to do this sort of post for the hell of it!

Ahem. Today, it’s been 1019 days. We’ve known each other for about four years! Keunseok came to my university in September of 2008 to study abroad for a year. About half of our relationship has been long distance. I’d like to say we are proof that long distance is hard but not impossible, but I won’t be that arrogant. I know we are happy right now and glad the both of us worked hard to figure this out.

Going to be honest: I had a boyfriend for most of the time he was there in the states. However, Keunseok & I didn’t start dating officially until after I visited him in Korea and, by then, months after I had broke up with my then-bf. I won’t go into details about that or anything else related to the topic 

So anyway, when he arrived what I thought was happening between us was just a really good friendship. HAHA.

The weather is so nice~!!

I expect this to last for about five more days, when it will be rainy season for way too long.

I’m trying to enjoy it while it’s here, though. Taking short walks on lunch, leaving early for work to walk there slowly, walking home even more sloooowly

So, as you can maybe expect, many of the photos in this post are going to be about the 벚꽃 here in the ROK. Gotta represent!! Everyone else freaks out about Japan, but Korea has its own beautiful trees~~
